Overview
Select Wine Merchants [Select] was founded in Vancouver in 1982 by Pierre L. Doise after he immigrated to Canada from France to service the emerging wine market of British Columbia. Focusing on the development of National Brands the company expanded its market coverage with the opening of operations in Alberta and Ontario as well as servicing of the Prairies and Atlantic provinces (1992). Select became fully national in 2001 opening operations in Quebec and establishing subsidiaries in Atlantic Canada (2008) and the Prairies (2010).
Today, Select stands as one of the most successful, privately owned import wine and spirit agencies in Canada.
Select Wine Merchants offers a wide range of wine and spirits and with the partnership of our suppliers, we strive to provide our customers with services and products of superior quality.
