Established in Northern Spain’s La Rioja region in 1861, Grupo Faustino is a family owned company in its fourth generation.
One Bodegas Campillo, situated in the Rioja Alavesa, is a unique property on the Rioja landscape, having established itself as one of the few single-estate properties in this appellation. Inspired by the Bordeaux Chateau concept, this approach results in uniquely terroir driven wines.
CONDESA DE LEGANZA
A love of the land and estate-owned vineyards have always been the hallmarks of the Faustino Group’s development and growth.
Ribera del Duero
Grupo Faustino began its project in the Ribera del Duero in the 1990s with the purchase of land in the areas of Roa, Gumiel de Izán, Villanueva and Gumiel de Mercado. It then planted vineyards which, after a selection and ripening process, gave rise to Portia 2003, the winerys first wine. Its efforts were rewarded when the wine was given first prize as the Best Tempranillo in the World at the international competition held in Cologne, Germany.
